Busy Saturday Night. I had made reservations at the other location. Hostess was very accommodating, or wait was spent walking around the neighborhood. Once we were seated the food was, as usual, outstanding. Who can resist a stuffed artichoke in the spring?

Seriously some of the best Italian in town! Every time I go I try something different and it is always amazing! Not only is it delicious but it takes the perfect amount of time to get to you, not so short you know it was microwaved, but not so long you ordered delivery from your table just to tide you over. The setting is very intimate so it's a good date night spot. Be sure you make a reservation! I'd say it's a must visit for the downtown area!

Wasn't sure whether to give this place 4 or 5 stars, but I think a 5 is suitable. This restaurant delivers Italian cuisine that is extremely authentic and skillfully prepared. portions can be large, so if you are not very hungry, I recommend sharing. The chicken spedini is amazing. This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of KC, but because of this ambiance and great food, you will notice a pricey menu. Highly recommend. (I recommend calling ahead for reservation as this place does get very busy at night)

After hearing so many great things about this restaurant, we booked a dinner at this place on 2/17/18 to congratulate my father on his retirement. This, however, fell far short of expectations. We (7) arrived to our reservation and were told that we were going to be seated in the restaurant's 'VIP area'. Fantastic, I thought. We were led back outside and around the back of the restaurant. We continued past the dumpsters and linen bins and in to a back room to a place that want quite ready. There was a bit of broken glass on the carpet in the entryway, all the doors were initally open in this room and displayed what seemed to be a break room adjacent to it. We were seated at, no exaggeration here, a generic, white hard-plastic card table covered with a table cloth. My seat overlapped with the single unisex restroom for the room which required me to scoot forward whenever anyone from any party in the room needed to use it and my location enabled me to be able to hear the goings-on inside of it. Three of the other four tables in this room were this standard generic hard plastic table and make the place feel cheap. As we left, we walked over the broken glass again. The food and service were fine for the most part and my party seemed to take the situation in stride. That said, the room we were presented with took the whole experience away. I cannot recommend this place and if you are traveling here for a special event and they offer you the VIP room, do yourself and your group a favor and politely decline.

Very tasty restaurant. My husband and I have gone many times. Lately we've noticed a decline in service if we don't order wine right away, even if they don't provide the wine menu. Last night we went and ended up with water for the whole meal because she never came back with the wine menu. And the waitress chatted up every table around us but didn't seem to care about us at all. Same thing happened last time we visited when we didn't order an appetizer. So I guess, order everything if you want attentive service or they'll cut their losses early. Even so, we'll still go back. The food is amazing.
