  My daughter has been taking music lessons at Further Music School for more than three years. This is a very professional and effective school. The reason I say effective is because I noticed my daughter has immense improvement in every month. I also like the fact that they devote themselves in motivating students to practice and pretty serious on tracking students' practice time and hour. My daughter is required to present her practice journal to her teacher and school every week, and she enjoyed practicing to earn different prizes! This actually make my work easier that I don't have to yield at her as before for practicing and I see the meaning of take her to music lessons---She learns, improves, and enjoy it.

  We live around the corner from the school which is very convenient and have been going here for piano lesson since October 2016. I really like our piano teacher, Iga, who is great with kids and teaches piano well so that a child can understand the concepts. I don't like the setup of the school with thin walls between classrooms so when there is another lesson next to you, you can hear the other piano and it is distracting at times. They have reasonable prices but you have to pay for 12 lessons up front and they only accept cash. We are starting taking singing lessons and we really like the vocal teacher, Jill, she is also great with kids and teaches what you need to know. The school office manager, Ayanna, is very friendly and professional. They offer recitals a few times a year at a Manhattan location.

  This is a fantastic school. As a mom I compared many music school around Queens, furthermusic definitely offers a high quality music classes with an affordable price. The teachers here are passionate, patient, and very professional. My son is currently taking both guitar and piano here, he loves the classes so much and always practices at home.

  My daughter started learning piano when she was 4 years old at Further Music School. Every week she is so excited to come to the piano class. The teacher was very patient and nice with young children but also maintain their learning progress. We appreciate the teacher’s hard work as at first my child had a hard time to focus throughout the class. But now we see huge improvement at her piano skill and also with her ability to focus. I give a high recommendation to Further Music School and will suggest anyone to come here. I am confident anyone will love this school.
