  One of my all-time favorite spots for beer & a game. They have always have a great selection of beer & pretty tasty bar food. I visited a week ago and ordered the bean and cheese nachos. It was amazing! I got a giant heap of chips with a good amount of beans with a ton of melted cheese. Pretty sure it was some sort of combo of cheddar and jack. Whatever it was, it was this pile of melty fatty deliciousness. I love this place. I always have a great time at Friendly.

  Great craft beer including some rare beers. Great prices. Food is a nice snack, nothing to come for, but the beer is phenomenal.

  I love it here mainly because of all the dogs. They have good beer and good finger foods. Water and tea are free. And they have a jungle gym for kids in the front. They have a small party house in the back that anyone can use, dont even have to rent it out - first come first serve.

  I'm a San Antonio native. I personally, singularly, go to different spots in town where I haven't tried the food to see what it's like, and to see how they treat their clientele. Very good selection of beer, service was good. Prices were a little high considering the quality and QUANTITY of the food. I decided to have the fish tacos, which i have to say we're a bit disappointing, givin the fact that i have tried several other establishments fish tacos. There was a very slim tiny slice of fish surrounded by all the other stuff. At ten dollars a pop I wasn't about to try their burger, but i sure hope it had more substance than that. Good spot to just chill and have beers with your friends, other then that i wouldn't suggest the food selection.

  Nice outdoor venue. They had the Spurs game on the large outdoor big screen and all the Sweet Sixteen games on...with that being said...only 3 bartenders? It took more than 20 min waiting in line to get a beer (No waitstaff). Don't run a tab there either...if you want to close it out you have to wait in line with everybody else. I just left and let them charge me the 20% for not closing out.
