Nice park to walk with either people or dogs but not much else to do but that. Wish there could be more.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it is still as nice today. There are so many paths and trails and plenty of space if you want to go for a quiet walk alone here. Lots of events are held here because of how beautiful it is. Brought my son here and he had a blast. They have park swings here and they also have a bathroom fyi.

This is one of my favorite local parks. There's areas for bike riding, hiking, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. There's even a newly constructed pool which is fabulous. There's even stations for playing frisbie golf. This large park is designed for take your family to the park day. The bathrooms are clean and maintained too.

We hosted our daughters second birthday at Franklin D. Roosevelt and enjoyed our time! Although there is no fee to use the picnic area we chose to pay the $50 to guarantee a picnic area with a gazebo. I believe we chose picnic area “3BS.” It is the closest to the restroom and park. There were several grills - - just remember to bring cleaning supplies! Perfect for all ages! * Parking was $8 per vehicle from May-September/October

Quaint park within driving distance to city with several easy walking trails. Followed one trail around lake, but shortly after boat launch trail ends and you are forced to walk along highway for last 1.5 miles, and was a little muddy in other areas. Lots of deer frolicking around park at dusk. Will definitely have to check it out in the summer again, but will probably have lots of mosquitoes then.
