  Went in today for what we thought would be our first custom frame purchase for some original art that we just acquired. We walked in and the gentlemen working didn't even say hello. Instead he said "its going to be awhile" in a not so friendly tone. Maybe he was busy and overwhelmed or maybe he was having a bad day - either way, not the way to great a potential customer who would have been happy to come back if communicated to nicely. Too bad, as we live down the street and was referred there. On to somewhere else!

  We have used the services of Frame of Mine for years, when we lived on Capital Hill and even since we have moved to another part of Washington with framing shops much nearer by. A lot we have done were oddities we picked up on foreign trips. During all that time, we have enjoyed the feeling that when we walk in their door, we are the only customers that matter. We always get undivided, creative and professional attention. The results hang on our walls, still handsome and fresh after all those years. It is nice to have good friends who are also expert framers!

  Wonderful neighborhood store. Great people. Beautiful work. I have had them mat and frame two historic maps we got from our travels. They took great care in selecting a frame and mat to complement the maps and play up the feel of the location. It was a pleasure working with them.

  The folks at Frame of Mine have always been incredibly helpful! I've gone there multiple times to get things framed. Twice, it was for weddings and they did a rush job for me so I could have it in time - one time they even did it the same day! Their work is always beautifully done and when you go into the shop they are very helpful about picking out mats and frames based on what you're looking for.

  Why go anywhere else?? This is a terrific place to have your paintings, medals, certificates and other treasures framed. They know what they are doing and do it very well. You may pay a little more here but you get what you pay for. Oh and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. I have been framing here for years and years and I wouldn't fame my work anywhere else.
