Love the fries and cheese platters. The salad sampler is a great lunch though I wish they put it on a slightly bigger plate so it doesn't spill off the edges. Good ambience, outdoor seating, polite staff. Only reason for 4.5 stars is it is a bit pricey.

A great pib, but an even better place for breakfast or brunch. Their Full English breakfast is delicious, and to the beat of my knowledge the only place in Sac that serves one. Their scones are a must have with some Devonshire cream. The potatoes are always delicious, the bangers and eggs are another go to favorite, and their corned beef hash is the best I've had. There is always a little bit of a wait, but it's worth it. One of our favorite breakfasts haunts in town.

The BLT This was my first time eating lunch at Fox & Goose. I was a bit nervous as I am not accustomed to Irish food. Based on lessons learned from other restaurants I was unfamiliar with, I decided to play it safe and order the BLT on sourdough with fresh fruit. I also ordered a Pink Panther mimosa as the drink. The BLT was exceptional. The bacon was cooked just right and the servings size was hearty. The sandwich was serve. With a slice of honeydew melon and pineapple. I am not a melon fan so I can't speak up the freshness of the honeydew. However the pineapple was ripe and juicy. The mimosa was made with cranberry lemonade and sparking wine. I absolutely loved it. The staff was attentive and responsive and very polite. I will definitely be back again.

Great food, pub atmosphere, excellent staff. Pub trivia and live music in the evenings. Hard to beat a London Porter with fish and chips or a pasty. Tell them Russell! sent you (the exclamation mark is important). ;)

Been a customer for over 30 years. Pete, the newer owner, made the transition seamless. There isn't a better watering hole! Food is consistently good, lots of selection in the bar... And everyone who drinks Tonic should experience the House Tonic. Amazing
