::Four Star? More like Zero Stars. I came in to get an oil change and get my brake fluid flushed and replaced. I get a call five hours later saying it's ready. An oil change here is typically $34, and I was quoted $85 for the brake fluid job so I'm expecting around $120+. I got the bill and it's only $94,. Then he tells me they couldn't do the brake fluid change, but they charge me $60 for "topping off" my brake fluid. If you can't do the job, call me and tell me you can't do the job. He stated he "topped off my fluids" including antifreeze, windshield wiper fluid as well. What the genius doesn't know, is that before dropping my car off I checked everything, and a Lexus takes only Toyota branded antifreeze. Not doubting he had some in stock, but my fluid level was perfect. I would know, I did the complete Timing Belt/Water Pump job on it myself in the summer. On top of that I just drained all my windshield wiper fluid days ago and put De-Icer in for the winter. And guess what? I topped it off myself. When you start lying to a guy who knows cars, you lose all credibility. Oh and after checking my brake fluid, it's just as black as it was before I got there. Long story short, if the caliber bleed bolts are stuck, and you can't do the repair, you don't make up ways to charge a customer money. You say "Look, I tried to do the job, but I can't. I'd normally charge you for labor, but don't worry about it this time. Eventually you'll need to replace the calipers if you want to drain the fluid, and I can give you a discount if you get them done". Something along those lines, to keep the customer happy, and business coming back. Making up lies to make money should hurt your business, and I hope this deter's people from making the same mistake I did. I'd use them for oil changes only, and nothing more. This is what I get for not wanting to work outside in the cold today. Oh and for the record brake fluid is about $3 a bottle. Judging by the color of my fluid I think I got about 13 cents worth, and he filled it over the max fill line, so looks like I'll have to get the turkey baster out myself.
