  I used to really love foundation but in the years since it's opened it's gone down hill in a big way. They still have the best selection of artists that play there but it feels like they have stopped caring about actually taking care of the club. They used to have amazing bathrooms with attendants but now there is no attendant and literally everything in the bathroom is disgusting! I got there pretty early in the night and the bathroom was thrashed already. It honestly looked like they hadn't been cleaned before the club opened. If they can step up their game I think it can be great again but for now I'm very disappointed.

  If you are looking for the party spot foundation is it for sure. Lit. Vip table is the only way to go and super affordable but the experience is incredible, Cassie and Amanda, our beautiful waitresses were absolutely outstanding. Justin also took care of us from start to finish. We're from Oregon and had my best friends bachelor party here. Impeccable service and amazing music. The resident djs were off the chain. Can't emphasize how good the service was. Anything we could have wanted was provided right away. Felt like kings here honestly. Amazing atmosphere and incredible service. Nothing else can be said. If you are thinking about having a night out in Seattle "Foundation" is a must. When we are back in seattle , tbis will be a must.

  Mu was a great security guard, I was waiting in line for a signature from the artist after the show and I asked him if I could go grab some water and get back in line. Instead he went out of his way to get me a free water bottle. You usually don't get that kind of service at nightclubs

  Went to foundations to see Will Sparks and had a great time! Drinks are average price for a club. The scene isn't upscale, but it's not divey either, I'd say it's casual clubbing with a decent mix of people and worth checking out.

  I've been seeing shows here for about a year, and I just dropped stars after tonight. It's never clear where to enter, and the doorman/bouncer wasn't indicating. I had purchased a ticket and pulled it up on my phone, and wasn't sure who to show it to. One of the guys looked at my id and said I could go in, but the bouncer wouldn't lift the rope. He wasn't telling me I couldn't go in - he isn't didn't have an opening for me to go in. He knew I was standing there because when one guy told me to brighten the screen on my phone for the ticket to show, that guy repeated it a few times weirdly, but didn't let me in. Finally the other guy said he didn't know what the doorman was doing and lifted the rope himself. Every time I've come, with a ticket and an id and no drugs, I get treated like this from the second I walk up. Except one time the staff was nice. Foundation gets big names, but that's it. The crowd can be sloppy depending on the night and artist, more nightclub than coming to see someone perform. You can get pushed a lot, people are constantly moving across the floor - don't trip over glasses.
