  Good value hotel! The location is great. In addition to being central, it is also next to the Orange line, providing easy transportation. Close to Chinatown, Boston common and back bay for dining. The downside is the noise. I am not a light sleeper, but I was awoken at 2 am Friday and Saturday by party people in the streets getting their cars. Better noise insulation would have fixed that! Oterwise the room was nice, clean and clearly recently remodeled. Staff is polite, but not overly friendly; as a Norwegian I must say I actually prefer that! Breakfast has bagels, baked goods, waffles, fruit, cereal, hot drinks and juice. Nothing fancy but does the job.

  Beautiful hotel 2nd oldest in Boston. Very chic and hip. In a great area close to every thing. Chinatown is great for food.

  Stayed there for two nights in the smallest room they had. Loved it. The room was very clean and neat, everything was in good condition. No signs of bedbugs. The staff were very helpful -- I had some trouble with the door lock, and they fixed it right away. Nice breakfast, too: tea, coffee, yogurt, muffins, bagels, apples, bananas, waffle maker. Good location and price. Recommended.

  Staff very polite. Rooms clean. On the first day when trying to have a shower the hot water was not working in our room due to a tap problem. Immediately another room was offered and everything worked well. At breakfast you can find cereals, waffles, yogurts, toasts, fruit. Good enough. Hotel close to restaurants and center, walkable distance.

  The location of the hotel is great. Right in the heart of Boston's theatre district. Be aware there are 7 steps to enter the hotel and there is no wheelchair ramp. The suite is clean, yet furniture has many chips and scratches. The kitchenette in the suite is very convenient. There is a fridge, a toaster oven, a stove/oven, a sink, and cabinets. Tiny shower stall in the bathroom. Bedroom has mirror, sink, queen size bed, and 6-drawer dresser. Free breakfast is included in the room cost. There are 2 vending machines on the basement level. There is an elevator to access all floors. Concierge is friendly. Warning: The entire cost of your reservation is immediately processed on the provided card on the first night of your stay.
