  I want to like this since I live in the neighborhood and love the concept and like how it's a unique experience to offer themed flights. That being said, it feels like the owner has no idea how to actually run and price a business. The small plates are vastly overpriced for the quality and what you get. The $14 burrata? Really tasty. However, and I don't know why this irks me so badly, but it does not come with any accoutrements....like bread. "That'll be $3 extra for bread." Sure, whatever, fine. 5 minutes later, literally two slices of bread arrive on a plate. It just looked sad. It feels like they aren't doing well and cutting corners in every area possible. I desperately want this to do well, but price competitively and know your value. Also, a little work on the atmosphere would help as well. It was fairly dead and the bartenders closing the kitchen at 8 "because we aren't busy" and obviously cleaning up shop don't make you want to linger. Also, looking in from outside? You see nothing, the glass is smoked and it looks like an uninviting place to enjoy a glass of wine. So much potential here! Add patio seating! Allow people to peek in and see life!

  Really great selection of wine. They have a full food menu and the service is great.

  Our son and his wife had their after wedding celebration at Flight. It was amazing. The food was superb. The staff was attentive and professional. The sommeliers were knowledgeable and very good at what they do. The staff bent over backswards to give us the best that they had to offer. It was a very enjoyable and successful celebration. Thenk you to everyone at Flight for making this event memorable for not only our son and his wife, but also for all the guests who attended. Bernie and Jeff Karns

  LOVE Flight wine bar! Only complaint is that its not open longer!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and knows what they are talking about. Love the atmosphere. Favorite wine bar in DC
