  Not a traditional bank with tellers behind bars and an imposing queue. Almost too easy. Was in and out within 3 minutes.

  This is a nice cozy branch of an above-average bank. I never wait longand they notarize documents for me. If I use your ATM card at another bank, for example in another country, they rebate any fees. It's better to cash checks here. They round up to the nearest dollar. Full disclosure: you need an account for check cashing or notary services. Hands down, this is the best FRB branch in SF because this branch has the best chocolate chip cookies. If I time my visit for a Monday morning, I might get some nice coffee to go with my cookie from the Zipcar guys on the corner. Then I can take your cookie and coffee to the roof garden of the Crocker Galleria for a pleasant al fresco repast.
