  We bank with First Citizens Bank and we love them. We truly feel that we have a relationship with our bank...something of the past but that still does exist with the right bank.

  I wouldn't trust First Citizens with a business account. We've had multiple issues with the bargain basement check scanner they provided, and their support seems to have no concept of how software security is supposed to work. Their solution was to uninstall our AV/firewall software, and they had no idea what software/services/ports needed to be allowed through. When pressed to continue attempting to work out the problem the last rep I spoke with simply stated "we don't provide software support". Yikes. I've been in IT for over a decade and I've never heard anything like that. Given their lackadaisical approach to their business customers' network security and outright refusal to offer support for the hardware/software they provided I would implore any business owner to stay far away from First Citizens Bank. With their IT support so dysfunctional I would hate to find out what a problem with their insurance or merchant services would be like. If they're cutting corners on hardware costs, not investing properly in training their staff, and actually refusing to support necessary software imagine what else they're cutting corners on. No thanks.
