I absolutely love the hot food! Not only is the food delicious but the price is also very good for the amount of food you get! On top of all that the customer service is amazing! They’re so nice and friendly especially Maria and Karina they were very nice! I’ll definitely be going back for more!!

This supermarket leaves room for their own improvement. From my non-Hispanic perspective, this venue does not carry what would be my "ideal". The meat section is not to my liking if I were to be looking for, let's say, a top sirloin steak less than a pound. It may be hard to find when the hunter-gatherers of the family must feed a family of six. I am a single guy wanting the option to cook that meat the same day or freeze it. Large pieces must be subdivided, re-wrapped, then frozen (except for the portion about to be cooked). A small steak is cooked, then cut into two portions with one portion refrigerated to be reheated another meal. Filet mignon (an unknown product in this store) should NEVER be re-heated. Just a side note. The small meat delicacy is a single portion as is. Fine Fare's customer target marketing is on the low side of Stop and Shop but nearly equal to King Kullen. S and S and KK are Anglo-oriented with "ethnic-targeted" specialty aisles. Fine Fare: Hispanic-oriented, period. Try their prepared hot food at the Middle Island Fine Fare. Delish. I bought recently a hot meal by choosing the various offerings in the steam trays. Flavorful, especially the plantanos. I have not yet tried the prepared food at this Brentwood location. If they have this offering I would surmise equal or greater quality. Different neighborhoods determine varying market practices. You will be charged for a cellulose bag if you do not bring your own two-handled plastic tote which eventually non-biodegrades in a landfill. I wonder about their profit margins when most Hispanic/ethnic stores in Brookhaven and Islip Townships do not charge two dollars or anything at all. Wally World (Walmart) is an exception. You are charged as does Stop N Shop Til You Drop from Price Shock. If the store name is on the bag it is free advertising for them. Should you pay them again when being overcharged for the rarely found USDA Prime steak among their cheaper chuck chopped USDA Choice steaks? I believe they think you should. One more thing: when buying canned vegetable goods should some be priced by weight and others by volume? I am not talking about soup. This is a deceptive practice here and elsewhere which this "foodie sleuth" often uncovers. When shopping at Fine Fare I need three things: a camera for documentation, a calculator to determine true weight/volume comparisons, and paper/pen. They are not alone in this practice. Many times I find glaring errors as well as expired yams dedicated to Thanksgiving 2021. Bottom shelf covered with dust. Read the labels. Pay attention to expiration dates so you do not expire accordingly. Do not buy dented cans. ** Caveat emptor: let the buyer beware.** Happy Shopping! Only at Fine Fare.
