Fein Violins provided me with two violins on approval. I had been searching for a luthier who would send violins that had geared tuning pegs without having to return the violins for a peg installation and all the rigamarole or reshipping the violins after selecting the one I wanted. Fein was the only one I found that would do that. I was surprised that Shar refused to and was afraid of installing geared pegs. Also, Diane was pleasant and cooperative to deal with. I would recommend Fein violins to anyone seeking a good instrument and efficient service. Jim Wadowick, violin teacher for 60 years

I was skeptical about purchasing a cello online but my experience with Andy and the staff at Fein Violins has been a fantastic experience. I listened to many cellos online and the rich tones coming from Andy’s instruments was unmatched. I purchased a Milan model. It came ready to play and it sounded better than what I had heard online. Andy’s attention to making the highest quality instruments is evident and he and the staff’s commitment to customer service is a priority. He stands by his work and word. I had an issue with my tailpiece and he sent me a higher quality one to replace it. The top of my cello cracked in February. It was under warranty and I received a totally new cello this week. I also purchased a new elite bow and love it. I will continue to go to Andy and Fein Violins for all of my cello needs. Andy is a truly talented luthier artist and craftsman. I highly recommend Fein Violins, Ltd. Charolyn Mize, Spearfish, SD

I love Andrew's craftsmanship on violin. He is an experienced luthier and a personable individual. I have known him only for two years but I felt like he is the person I can really trust when it comes to string instrument and his quality of work. He is honest and a very down-to-earth person. If you are beginner or professional violinist, you should have a good business relationship because it will pay off every dime you have invested.

Very good experience! I am a beginner on the violin, I have an entry level violin. I grew up playing guitar and took up mandolin a number of years ago and have some very nice guitars and a top end mandolin so I know that a fine instrument makes such a difference in learning and the desire to pick up your instrument to practice. I researched the internet, asked as many questions as I could at local music stores, and relied somewhat on my knowledge gained with guitar and mandolin. After talking with Andrew Fein I decided to order a violin from Fein violins. The violin arrived and I am very impressed, it is beautiful! Very nice workmanship on violin and bow. The tone compared to my entry level violin is like day and night. I love the tone of this violin. I have peace of mind with the warranty, which hopefully I never have to use, and when the time comes for my next step up I have the trade-in option. My experience with Fein Violins was excellent and l am sure that I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Andy and the staff of Fein Violins are fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful; they have been a valued resource for me and my violin students. Highly recommended! Here are some examples: A student of mine needed a replacement bow, Andy helped her and her folks try a bunch in a relaxed no-pressure environment until we found the *perfect* match that made her sound her very best. (She got into the All-State Orchestra!) Another family had financial considerations and Andy helped them find the best violin for the $ and it really meant a lot to this family. Music can be a life-changing experience and being treated in such a thoughtful and positive way by Fein is a part of that. Thanks again Andy & Crew! :^)
