  This is a best company to work for, according to "a" magazine. No, by far this is the worst company to exist! There always seem to be an excuse to "NOT" deliver a package: Delayed due to weather on a warm and plesant day, delivery attempted while you were home, delayed due to natural disaster, and "delivered". I don't know why merchants would still chose to ship via FedEx, when their company image WILL be tarnished alongside a shipping company that does not value customers or their existence. FedEx does not hold on their commitment in service as it has been proven to me time and time again. After reading another review on the topic of damaged packages, FedEx refuses to be liable for the damage even when the package was in their possesion with their insurance. They are truly scammers and thieves in my eyes, and the best part is they can get away with it, no crime commited. Consumers should be made aware of honest ethical companies, as well as deceptive and dishonest ones.

  I went in to ship a laptop and asked for the cheapest way I could possibly ship the package. The woman doing the packaging didn't say anything to me, or told me how much the charges would be. Absolutely nothing. She went and packed it up in the expensive laptop packaging, then asked if I'd like it to be signed for or not. I said sure, and the price went up four dollars. She never said there was an extra charge for it. I told her to take that off, and the total came to $40 to ship the package. She never once told me ahead of time what the price would be, nor suggested anything else even though I specifically told her I wanted the cheapest method possible. I won't be using this FedEx again.
