After 33 yrs in the Chicago area, I'm back in NYC to help my daughter and grandchildren get out of the Bronx. My oldest grandson, Pvt Joel Santiago grew up in the building next door and is serving in South Korea with the US ARMY Military Police. The firefighters all came down just to take a picture with my 2 other grandkids, to say hello to him in South Korea!! Local heros saying hello to our heros abroad!! Nicest, humble bunch of guys you'd ever meet!!

When I was a little girl I remember always Loving Firefighter. But on Dec. 23, 2004. I loved them even more. I will never for get that day when they walk in my church. I'm singing in the front, the door from our church opened up. All you could see was red lights. Suddenly like 5 of them walked in to the church. I was like My God What Happen? In between them I saw a familiar face. It was my boy friend who on that day . He was going to propose to me. It's been 11 years and I still think of the heroes who made that day so special. Every Time I tell someone the story how he proposed. My face lights up and I'm all smiles. I would love for our two children to meet them. I want to Thank the Firefighter who helped my husband making that day unforgettable day. May God Bless You and keep all of you guys safe. πŸ’πŸ’‘πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌβ€οΈπŸš’πŸ€—πŸ‘°πŸ»πŸ‘¦πŸ»πŸ‘§πŸ»πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦
