  Kate is awesome. Her $12 cut is way better than some $30+ cuts I've had in the East Bay. Super convenient location off Broadway.

  The lady who owns the place and her staff are very friendly and down-to-earth. They take appointments but are more than happy to accommodate walk-in's. The prices are more than reasonable. As Asian man who has an unrelentingly course & dense head of hair, who also was used to getting his hair cut by his hairstylist mother, I had a hard time finding someone who would take the time to get it right, both when I was in NYC and in the Bay Area. But after resorting to cutting my own hair for over a decade, I finally stumbled upon this salon that has not one but 2 hairstylists who have the skills and patience to get my hair looking better than ever!
