  Another update 4/16/18 for you all!!!! They are still the worst store of any kind in the neighborhood. I worry it is actually lowering property value. The new manager who proclaimed she was “fixing up the place” is no better than the last bunch of misfits. Her new hire, a shaggy haired middle aged man, who seems to think it’s cute to wave while I watch and record the trash flying about. This week alone I have found 3 bums digging in their trash at night waking me up and causing me to ask them to leave so I can feel safe while my family sleeps! They still don’t lock the dumpsters and refuse to get containers that are apportion to the outfit! Please don’t spend money here. They need to be shut down and that blonde haired freak needs to go flip burgers somewhere since this is clearly his ambition in life. Another update 1/6/18 waste management assures they are doing their job but I recorded them today and watched as not only the driver but the two Family Dollar employees watch as they finished their smokes and went back in leaving the trash once again to blow down my block like some trashy ghetto. UPDATE 1/29/18. Now on top of the issues below I now find trash in our yard every few days. I called and asked them to pick it up and they refused. Stayed:”I can’t do anything if the trash company dumps it wrong”. NO ACCOUNTABILITY! These boxes clearly say their prices/logos! See pics! The red box I have placed by there door and it has been moved 3 times now yet still not in the dumpster. VERY IMPORTANT : ALLOWS HATE and PREJUDICE slurs! After being rudely and veribally assulted and called a F---ing Fa--ot by their trash removal company. I went in to the manager (nicole) who was not helpful at all and simple told me that she has not control over it. I spoke with WASTE MANGEMENT who said the complant needs to come from the business. I have called the corpate line many times without ever receiving a call back from my messages nor a live person to speak with. This is only one (the most serious) of many problems! They (family dollar/ dollar tree {same company}) repeatedly block the entire road in front of my home and sometimes my driveway with their loading trucks. Mind you, they have a private drive next to this road they refuse to use. They are currently doing construction on their building and the morning they started, they laid very heavy materials on MY FENCE causing some of my belongings to fall and be broken. They have yet to clean up the broken glass or offer compensation for the items broken. To maek matters worse they have placed Portal Outhouse stations also along my property, only 20 feet from a bedroom window..... I DO NOT SHOP THERE AT ALL NOW. IT IS LESS THAN 300 ft AWAY AND I REFUSED TO GIVE THIS COMPANY MY MONEY. THEY HAVE POOR MANAGEMENT AND EVEN WORST COMPANIES WORKING FOR THEM MAKING MY NIEGHBORHOOD A NIGHTMARE TO LIVE IN. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT A COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS YOU! As a community memeber I am asking others in the community to stop supporting THIS family dollar. They dont care about anything but $$ to include its neighbors and shoppers! Thank you for reading.

  Always greets customers when they walk in. I know why they do it and it's still nice to be greeted anyways

  This store was clean and organized and seemed pretty well stocked, the service was helpful and friendly and quick. Can't beat the prices at FM, especially on cleaning products, laundry soap and paper goods like tp and paper towels, paper plates, cups, etc.They do not let you take a cart to your car, and i don't get the smart coupons I signed up for, it seems I never have anything that qualifies anyway, which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.
