::Good place to shop and get cheap priced items, but the reason why I gave it 2 stars is because of the manager's attitude. Don't know what her name is, but I felt that she was a little rude to me, just because of a crazy policy that I've never heard of. My usual Family Dollar store is closed early because of the Christmas holiday and that's fine, but when are not willing to go above for the customers when we regularly spend money at your store, that says a lot about your character. I couldn't even get a store gift card, because I didn't have a receipt. I wanted to return 2 Aussie hair products for a refund and was told because they're considered HEB Plus products, she can't take them. How are they even HEB Plus products when I didn't buy them at HEB? I bought it at the Family Dollar Castroville location. HEB is maybe 4 to 5 stores down. Insane! Then she said even if I wanted store credit, I would still have to have a receipt? REALLY?! And them she said that a lot of people steal Aussie products! Well that doesn't apply to me, because I paid for these and I wanted a refund. Her whole aura as a store manager threw me off. Her appearance was not up to par, but she threw her title in my face to prove a point that she's not giving a refund. Honest and decent people like myself don't deserve this crazy treatment from a manager that doesn't believe in providing good customer service. This store may be in a low class area, but that doesn't give you the right to treat me or others (my husband) like trash. Polish up on your store manager skills! This is the main reason why I don't shop at this particular location! Attitudes and customer service NEEDS MAJOR WORK! 👎
