  Fire Island Pines is really a magical place. The lack of cars sets a tone, 'you're someplace different', the minute you get off the Sayville Ferry at the dock. The small business district has everything you need for a week or weekend. Long, scenic walks on the beach is a rock collector, birder experience to enjoy.

  Small place, with nothing to see, but everything around it's kipper nice and clean, the trail it's perfect. The only bad thing it's to park here in the summer is to expensive. They have a big whale bone right outside the building, and few different animals bones, and shells inside the building. Next to the structure is a nice playground. All together is a nice place

  I love this seashore it has a beautiful view of the ocean. During the summer they have concerts and they have showers and a food concession stand where u can go in and sit or go outside and sit. people are friendly. They also have the memorial for Flight 800 that crashed off the sound. It is beautiful done.

  Solitude and seclusion is just a Boat Trip Away. The best way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Long Island is to buy a boat and set sail. When you're out there on the water and you know you're heading for vacant distant Shore it's the best feeling in the world. Fire Island is like another country. There are a few places you can go that have amenities Watch Hill is my favorite. You could even take a ferry if you don't want to buy a boat. But why wouldn't you?
