  You really can't beat their prices in the Back Bay location. With that said their motto should be Let Live and Let crumble.

  Ya know what? I'm going to give an honest review. I was referred to Fairfield after my boyfriend had a good experience finding decent, affordable apartments in Back Bay. I found a nice 3br in the South End on Columbus (3br, 1b $2400) and honestly, it was a good experience for the 2yrs I was there. There were some maintenance issues that weren't TOO pressing that needed to be addressed, but they were eventually handled. My roommates were more annoyed with them than I was.

  As I write this there is water coming through my apartment roof...so it is safe to say I'm not pleased. Less so about the water, stuff happens, but more so about the complete lack of maintenance personnel or emergency response. This is the 2nd time I've tried to call an emergency maintenance request, the first time they just never called back, this time I'm just sitting waiting while water, which has already ruined a couch and a table, casually drips into buckets as the big crack in the ceiling gets bigger. You get what you pay for in life. There is a reason these apartments are so cheap.
