  My first review ever... and what can I say about Giulia and her color sense that hasn't been said by everyone singing her praises on Yelp? It's all true. The woman is just gifted. She gave great counsel before coloring my hair to steer me in the right direction of what would work for me. She fixed the awful color differentiation in my hair (a casualty from years of getting highlights at a variety of salons.) AND she hung in there with my neuroses about having somebody new do my color. I also received a much-needed cut from Teresa. The salon was clean and everyone who worked there was nice and unpretentious. I will absolutely be returning!

  Fabio is simply the best. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair! His attention to detail and passion for his work is apparent in everything that he does. His staff are friendly and trained personally by him. The complimentary coffee and espresso bar is a lovely bonus. Fantastic!

  I have been going to Fabio for almost 10 years for my haircuts and can say with absolute certainty that he is the best at what he does! I wear my hair very short and have experimented with other stylists around town but always return to him. He takes his time to make sure every strand of hair is precisely cut and styled. I moved out of Brooklyn almost 6 years ago but still commute in weekly for work which allows me to continue to visit his beautiful salon for my monthly haircuts. His staff is friendly, professional and welcoming! I highly recommend both his Brooklyn and Soho salons to all who want quality hair care from expert staff in a beautiful setting!

  HIGHLY reccommend Rocco for color and Theresa for cuts/ style ! Rocco is a perfectionist and always takes his time. He listened to exactly what I want and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Extremely knowledgeable and the results are always above and beyond my expectations. Theresa is an artist- another perfectionist who doesn’t let you leave the chair without looking and feeling your absolute best. She always has a new technique and constantly keeping up with the trends. She is very knowledgeable in different styles and will give her professional opinion on what works for each individual while listening to their wants. Even just a trim makes me feel amazing and I love my hair every time ! Fabio Scalia salon is always professional and has wonderful customer service. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. Best Salon in NYC!

  I’ve found my girl! I happen to live down the block from this salon, but if I move out of BK Heights I’ll still come back for Theresa’s great haircuts. She’s a sweet and interesting person and she always gives me a cut that looks as good six weeks out as it does on day one. She also does a great blowout! In addition to cutting hair well, they play good music, serve a variety of free drinks (great coffee!) and have a friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for over a year after trying a few other salons in the area.
