I was like an ADD puppy here. I couldn’t hold a sentence together there was so much going on! Fantastic place to go, great place to bring a significant other. Learn a lot whilst being overstimulated by the fantastic exhibits! Don’t make the same mistake as I did, budget at least 1.5 hrs for this! I was so enthralled here that I almost didn’t take any photos :)

Fascinating, fun, science and art - for people of all ages. Strongly recommend a membership. The exhibits are all interactive. The restaurant is expensive but delicious but you can bring your own food and sit outside to eat it. Best time to go is midday on weekdays if you're not with kids. STRONGLY RECOMMEND VISITING

Are you from Vancouver? Do you miss home? Go to the Exploratorium and you'll find it's just like Science World. There are so many things to do inside, so much to learn that you'll spend the day just running around from exhibit to exhibit having a great time. Fun and friendly staff, very knowledgeable to boot, and always willing to teach you something new. Go there and have a blast, no matter what age you are! They have a treadmill there that you can do an infinite slinky on and that's just fantastic fun! Foodcourt is also pretty good, and the building is massive so you have a lot that you can enjoy before getting even remotely bored.

Beautiful venue. We had our holiday party here. It's very unique for SF, and definitely worth a visit. They made it super special for our holiday party, although it got incredibly packed. For the after dark hours, it was also a blast, but got so packed that we weren't able to exhibit much. Would love to visit on a normal day and really dive into exploring new concepts!

Great place for family time. I recommend the year pass that you can upgrade your tickets to after your day visit. Exhibits are hands-on and educational. They really get kids and adults to think science. Staff is helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant and a small cafe if you get hungry. Location on the bay pier is picturesque with many photo ops for visitors. I've always enjoyed the Exploratorium since I was a kid and now my children get to enjoy it too.
