This was such a brief visit, drinks only that not worth a review. Staff was on point and the vibe gets a 7 out of 10. I have heard (did not even look at the menu) that the food was a bit pricey but I do not mind paying top dollar if the food is great to excellent.

Great spot for fresh seasonal fare! Their cocktails are always amazing. I'd honestly recommend it as a cocktail spot, even though it's a more than exceptional restaurant. One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood!

Devon, the bartender was a true gentleman and scholar. He had a fine understanding of the intricacies of a good whiskey. Recommended something completely opposite of what I said I wanted and nailed it based on a preliminary introduction to my tastes. Truly a fine experience. The food was surprisingly good. Brooklyn has won me over. With places like this, I might grow to like the city after all. Excellent!

The onion tart app was amazing. The cauliflower grits were yummy too but realize it’s made out of cauliflower. Delish. Would return.

Location, atmosphere, presentation and staff all are fine, but the food, like many other reviews state in the reviews is just passible. The location is all to convenient and would love for it to be a enjoyable dining experience. Twice for dinner, once for brunch The menu seems to be storied enough and it's offerings that in most other restaurants in a similar price can live up to. Eugene's however misses the mark with the fundimentals, THE FOOD. Unless you're a landmark or novelty business, overpriced under prepared food is not a winning combination. I do really hope they get better.
