  Where do I begin...Kent SAVED me when I had been relying on another accountant who left me high and dry and with less than 72 hours to submit my tax returns. Without going into any details about that horrible situation, suffice it to say that I had a VERY complex tax return this year (complicated overseas income, investment real estate income, multi-state income, deductions for international move and charitable contributions, etc. etc.)...and I needed someone who could competently handle it. Oh, and do it in less than 72 hours (see note above re: very bad situation). Kent called me personally less than one hour after I e-mailed him, and he was in constant communication with me - even over the weekend - just so that we could submit my returns in time. NIGHT AND DAY from my experience with every previous accountant I've ever used. He didn't charge extra for the multiple state returns he ended up having to submit, or for the URGENT rush nature of my request. Additionally, Kent understood all the complexities of my situation, and in one instance, when it was a very complicated question about international income being recognized in multiple years, he researched all about it and showed me what the current ruling was on that particular matter (sending me links and highlighting what the IRS said about it). The man is a rockstar. I will never ever EVER use another accountant again in my life, and I will be sending all of my friends and family his way. I cannot say enough good things about this man.

  Kent is by far the best tax preparer we've ever met! We had acquired his services due to a complex situation and we're so glad we did. We took the same information we gave him to H&R Block and they took almost over month to do their "research" and to get back to me, only to tell me that we would owe about $26k. Kent, on the other hand, came back to us in less than 2 weeks. He did his research and advised us that nothing is owed and that we would be getting some money back. What a relief! But let me tell you, it's not just about the outcome that Im very happy with. The first time we spoke with him over the phone, we were already impressed. He knows his stuff! He's a very smart person, trustworthy, also very flexible with scheduling, and his services are reasonably priced. In addition, he kept us well informed and updated on the status of our "case" which proved to us that we're definitely in good hands. We highly recommend Kent for any of your tax needs!

  As an American living and working overseas, I was having a challenge finding anyone qualified to do my taxes for foreign earned income. Kent made my life so much easier and has done my taxes for the last two years. Even with a difficult time difference, he made himself available when worked best for me. He's honest and helpful, two characteristics that seem hard to find. I recommend him to all of my friends and colleagues.

  While I was working in USA as a foreign, I have always contacted Kent to get support in filling my tax form. When you are in a new country and you are not familiar with all requirements, it is important to get advice from trustful and competent professionals. Kent has been extremely helpful. My situation was out of the standard, but he gathered all the information needed to be compliant, while being able to make me save money. He also helped me another time when I had to deal with a tax issue, and he did this as advice without any charge. I highly recommend him: He is honest and well prepared!

  I was referred to Kent for assistance with a tax problem - the IRS was seeking a rather large penalty for an honest mistake. Kent recommended that we appeal the tax assessment, though my previous accountant was not able to get anywhere. He crafted a persuasive letter, outlining the facts and how the law should apply to my case. The IRS agreed and ultimately, the penalty was reduced to a reasonable amount that I volunteered to pay. His fee was reasonable, given the favorable result achieved. I would recommend him for similar IRS appeals work.
