  Great coffee. Quiet room on the back for studying. The patio facing windows raise for ample fresh air and an open concept feeling during the summer. Unisex washrooms.

  This is hands down the BEST coffee in town! Their coffee art ads a nice touch. My favorite is their soy velvet latte.

  Coffee is fine but the staff was not friendly. They looked annoyed. With regulars I noticed they were a tiny bit friendlier. Hopefully next time I go, there are other employees...

  The espresso was good and the atmosphere was nice. But of every Vivace I went to, no barista could answer where the beans from (Africa? Central America?). Their best answer was "from all over the world". You won't get a terrible cup here, but if you want to be served by those passionate about their coffee, look elsewhere. Edit: a year later bumping this review up. They may have lost some of their passion, but vivace is just so consistent and reliable that it deserves 4 stars.

  Nothing wrong with Vivace. Meticulously prepared coffee (without being precious), prompt service and excellent snacks. They have been around for years because why not do it right? Consider that they do a brisk global retail business as an indication of the high quality of their bean selection and roast. Splitting hairs about the best coffee in Seattle is one thing, acknowledging that Vivace is coffee craft at it's finest is something else altogether. This is where you take your friends from out of town to show them the real deal.
