  The pharmacy texts me to let me know when my prescriptions are ready, which is super convenient. My provider is great at communicating with me via the MyChart app about lab results, questions, etc. I notice a common complaint that patients have issues contacting but I’ve always managed to get ahold of someone each time I’ve called. As for scheduling appointments, I do that via the app and I’ve never had any issues. I’ve been a patient here for a year this June and so far this place has exceeded my expectations!

  I’m giving 3 stars because I love the office staff, but I’m done with Equitas. Positive: I’ve liked every MA and PCP I’ve seen- it’s truly a great place for LGBTQ healthcare. They always spend good time with me and include me in my healthcare decisions. That being said… I’ve tried messaging for an appointment and haven’t gotten a response. I’ve left voicemails and I’ve called multiple times. Yet for about a month I can’t get an appointment they’re telling me I need for a medication refill. What good does it do to stay with a health care provider who won’t even call you back when you need them? Continuity of care is impossible. I adored my original doctor, but she left. I saw one NP who then left and now my newest NP has left. Perhaps they should consider putting more money into hiring and retaining clinical staff at their current locations before they keep opening new offices.

  The service? It's great. Trying to contact them to make an appointment is impossible. They never return voicemails, and generally like to transfer you to a voice mailbox if your question is too complex. The dental office is a complete mess, and they tend to either cancel my appointment over and over, or have computer issues when I get there. They either need to reduce the amount of patients they are accepting, or put money into better phone systems and employees to answer them. Don't say you're for equitable diversity and inclusion for at-risk groups if your patients literally can't reach you. You're putting up barriers to healthcare, not breaking them down.

  I had 2 doctor's appointments there in 2 days The assistants were nice and friendly the doctors were amazing and put me at ease

  This has been my primary care, and care for hrt for probably 5+ years (short north location before this one opened). During this time, I've suggested it to many of my friends, trans or cis. Lately though, I can notice things slipping. I know they have had staffing problems, but I literally cannot get ahold of the front desk anymore to make appointments. I get left on hold until a nurse from the back answers, because I refuse to leave a voicemail. The voicemails only sometimes get a follow up, and if you're unlucky enough to miss the call back, well, good luck. It's still a great facility and I love my CNP. It's just very difficult to talk to anyone on the phone. I needed to update because things have only gotten worse here. My cnp left, along with others. Where it was previously hard to make an appointment due to no one answering the phone, there is also months and months of waiting you'll have to do to be seen. I'm working on switching providers as Equitas is not what it used to be.
