Average gym I use when I am in town. I am there later in the day so there isn't a wait usually. Other clients have mentioned some of the staff is rude, but I don't interact with them often and they generally seem ok.

The maintenance manager has no communication and a good relationship from manager to maintenance employees staff ... he isn't friendly, he isn't understandable, he does not have a friendly relationship to ask for things. (don't unit for make a team of work, he isn't organizational, he need training)

i would not recommend this gym to anyone the floor "trainers" NEVER DO ANYTHING except hang out and talk to each other-the show you NOTHING the locker room is NOT kept clean 1/2 the time the showers and bathrooms are dirty with the floor wet some of the members are slobs that just throw or leave their towels and garbage on the floor and it can take hours before anything is picked up by the staff you need to call them at least four (4) times before any manager will even speak to you and everyone else knows NOTHING I could go on but do NOT understand their supposedly high ratings or their high rates per/mo

Most poorly maintained, absolute worst Equinox I’ve been after 5 years of top destination membership, living in London and NYC and visiting LA. Staff is condescending. Always a mess. Old equipment. Old locker room. Some of the machines look like they belong in a small hotel gym from the early 90s. A machine broke off in my hand today. Water fountains are broken and they don’t offer water bottles. They haven’t had a jump rope since I’ve been coming here. $200+ per month and they can’t keep a $10 jump rope lying around. Ridiculous. And in the most expensive neighborhood in NYC? Ironic.

I've been a member for over 5 years. I've had great experiences with equinox clubs around Manhattan where I live as well as in California where I travel frequently for work. I am sorry to say that the front desk staff is anything but welcoming and accommodating. For my $250 a month membership, is it too much to ask to have someone treat you in a friendly manner?
