  I have been a member for 3 months so far at Equinox. Before that I was attending Planet Fitness and Retro Fitness. Comparatively, Equinox is on another level. I also attended X-Sport Fitness in Garden City which would be more on par with Equinox. However, you get alot more value for with an Equinox membership. This particular gym is comprised of 3 levels. The basement level has the yoga study, a workout space with leg machines- elliptical machines- treadmills- studio reformers (pilates), girl locker room, spa, and physical therapist office. The ground floor has a Juice Press, clothing store, men's locker room, and childcare. The 3rd floor is where you will find the main studio where they do TRX, HIIT- boxing- cardio- cycling classes. It also has an assortment of exercise equipment which are plentiful so you rarely are waiting to get a machine. Equinox includes all the pilates- cycling- boxing- HIIT- TRX- cardio- yoga classes in their membership so just show up, or book a class in their app. Personal trainers are on staff to help you if you need a spotter or someone to show you a new move. That's free as they do floor shifts. You can also book a trainer for one-on-one personal training which you pay and it's worth it- they know their stuff. You can get an upgraded membership, as well, that will give you access to all their gyms- worldwide. So if you commute into the city you can jump into their many gyms throughout Manhattan. I will not go to any other gym. The classes, the trainers, the equipment, the cleanliness, and professionalism of their staff is top-notch. I know that many other Equinox gyms have a different setup so each is unique. Yet, the ease of which I can drive to this particular club makes it worth it for me. Meghan Garza and Sarah Culmo are great reps, so when you pop in ask for them because they really go out the extra mile for their clients.

  Agree with what was said. Nice gym but not at the same level the equinox brand is elsewhere.

  Friendly staff and nice gym. But very overpriced. Not on the level of other Equinox gyms.
