  Super hot inside of there. I felt like I was dying. It really needs to be AC in there. The kids of course were entertained. It was packed and if you don’t go early enough there’s a chance that you may not gain entry. For private parties it’s about $450-600 for 10 people. The food line was so long. The pizza was not even that great.

  I have debated posting this review but felt that others deserve fair warning. My son went to Epic Waters yesterday as part of an end of year class trip. He enjoyed the lazy river and concessions. When he went to ride on the red waterslide, his foot caught on an exposed bolt inside the flume, lacerating the skin on the underside of his foot. I am grateful for the first aid he received, but sad that his day at the water park was cut short. When I arrived to bring him home, I asked the nearest employee (who was checking bags at the front entry) to speak with a manager, wanting to point out the slide that needs repairing to prevent further injuries. The employee said he would find a manager for us to talk to and left. After waiting for what seemed an excessively long time we exited the building to go home. We caught the aforementioned employee walking out of a service exit. He had the gall to ask if we had spoken with a manager, to which I responded, "No, did you?", as I walked away. We are not planning to return with our family to Epic Waters again.

  We planned ahead and hosted a day long family celebration of 15 adults, youth and toddles to include a cabana rental and a private party. The cabana provided a home base with chairs, tables and Crystal, our private hostess. She provided excellent service and the open tab for food, drinks and adult beverages was very convenient. Booking a party was easy and a very economical option for full day admission, party facility, food and drink for a group our size. The private party room is air conditioned and equipped with tables, chairs, a large blue tooth speaker and a monitor for enhancing entertainment during the party. Our party host was Jessica. She was a wonderful asset assisting in every step of our event. The quality of the pizza served was hot and fresh. In summary if you are looking for a venue for a family celebration, church party or team builder stop by EPIC and ask for a tour of the facility. Take note of facility resources, operation policies and flotation devices included with paid admission. With a little planning your event can be customized to exceed the expectations of all your event guests. Kudos to the City of Grand Prairie for the vision to build such a wonderful state of the art facility!

  It was a lot of fun. I went here for a high school senior trip and had a blast. Fun for all ages. There's a place for the kids to have fun as well as a good selection of water slides. There's a arcade for when you want to take a break of the water. Bathrooms were large and very nice. The food was very overpriced but good to eat. The only complaint I have would be the price of food and drinks otherwise it was a great experience.

  If you don't get the tickets online don't think about it. The wait can be up to 3 hours in line. The food and drinks are fair priced. Don't bring anything or you'll get it thrown away. The park is nice and has a lot of rides for the kids. Great place for cold weather and rainy days.
