  I recently had to rent twice in the same week. Both times I had the pleasure of Michael helping me. I found that he is very knowledgable, polite, and goes above and beyond to see that you receive excellent service. The Hawthorne staff is great, too. I see that several people put in their reviews that they were not rented a vehicle that accomodated their needs, or what they requested. I suggest you book in advance online. Not only are you guaranteed the type of vehicle you requested, but by booking online, you receive a discounted rate. I learned this from Michael, and I found that he was correct. When renting, people need to keep in mind that when it's the weekend or a holiday, of course availabity is slim. That's why booking in advance online is important. I will definitely rent from the Hawthorne location again, largely in part because of Michael's customer service.

  My husband has a rental car through his insurance do to a car accident. The car stinks like cigarettes and we have been trying different locations to see if we could swap it for another one but no luck everywhere we call they don't have a car just trucks. We don't smoke and have 2 children with us that complain every time they get in the car. Our car wont be done for another 2 weeks and I don't know how we are going to deal with the smell. The car should not have been rented with that horrible smell. We have rented from here before with no problems except for now. Don't think we will be using you guys again.

  We ranted two vans from this location for a week last week for our school trip. everything was perfect and Anthony and his coworkers made everything working perfect for us. After hours drop-off option was great help as we made it back earlier from our trip on Sunday. Thank You.

  Not enough cars to choose from at that location, ended with a car that just came back from another rental, quick wash and rented to me. Car had about 5000 miles and STUNCK inside from Cigarettes. This car should had never been rented out without removal of the smell. The discount for aopa was less than other rental companies, I do travel extensively throughout the country. I will try to bypass Enterprise Rent A Car counter when possible. L.F.

  Fairly good, but their internal processes required me to re-provide information several times on several occasions. Vehicle itself and politeness of staff were very good. However, they try to strong-arm you into giving a 5-star review, offering slim incentives like a 15% discount off normal (pricey, non-discounted rate) for a future rental or a free upgrade for a future rental (both of which, you could find better bargains with a 2-minute goggle search or by flipping through the daily newspaper.). Still, overall it was not an unpleasant 'rental experience.
