::They are very expensive and double the prices of the part they sell to you. I needed an alternator ($500), belt and tensioner ($500) for my car so together they wanted to charge me $1006 for parts and labor. They said they are using good quality parts and the parts are under warranty for 1 year. I decided to do my research for the price of parts and found an alternator at Advance Auto Part (AAP) for $120 (after returning the used one from my car) that has a lifetime warranty. Then the belt and tensioner for $49.50 with 3 yrs warranty at AAP as well. Then I called EMS back asking for the labor price and the mechanic said $235. So if I decided to use the parts that I purchased from AAP plus the EMS labor the total would be $404.50 plus tax which is less than half of their original quote. I did not choose them for the labor and I ended paying $360 for labor and parts at another mechanic. I don't have any animosity towards them because they are a business; however, they are not as cheap and affordable as they portray themselves to be. Do your research before believing their "affordable prices"

::I've been many mechanics, and EMS is by far the most honest and reliable. They don't hit you with the usual scare tactics you get from the average mechanic. The owner, Mike, lays out every pricing option and the pros and cons that come along with each one. Great hours and will definitely coming be coming back!
