  i have been going to this wonderful shop off and on for the last 4 years. The stylists dont talk much they just do their thing. All the products are natural. There is usually a crowd on Saturdays and Sundays and space is limited in this little shop. The prices are decent for my long locs. It is not like in Harlem where you have to pay an arm, leg, and half the owners rent to get your hair done. I used to go to Khamit Kinks (used to be in tribeca) and Turning Heads Salon (Harlem, right on Lenox Ave.) but i prefer Empress Zaditu Salon. The salon is own buy a sistren which great & preferable for me. Going on Friday 10/17/08. Come on down to BK (mind u i live in The BX and yes i make the trip to the Empresses salon) it is worth the trip and no one else can compare. peace and blessings
