  I called on behalf of the company I work for. I did my research on what I needed as I typically work with wood not metal. I got on the phone with Mike and he was super rude and I guess just didn't feel like dealing with me over the phone. He gave me his email and ended the call with "Good luck". I emailed him and when he got back to me the information he gave me didn't match what was on their website so I questioned what he meant. I never got a reply. Service is terrible and I have to agree with past reviews, he was a douche.

  Totally Agree.. Ass on the phone is a douche bag... Called with simple request, couldn't be bothered.... Their loss in the end. 5 Stars must be employees or paid reviewers...

  The negative reviews must be competitors. Called today to pick up a small order of Stainless flat stock. Both the gentleman I spoke with when placing the order and the one I dealt with upon pickup were very helpful and pleasant. No issues at all and will use them again in the future.

  Same experience. I've started a business doing custom stainless work so I've been shopping around for a supplier. I go through about 2000 pounds of material aweek and I need it custom cut Bent ect. Well when I called i started with asking what they carry in Stock asking for 1/2 inch solid stainless square bar . Clearly says they have it in Stock in 48 inch lengths on there website. Well his response was were not a hardware store. I said no need to be rude so he hung up on me. I called back and kindly asked why he hung up and he said I told you were not a hardware store and you didn't identify yourself. So I said my name is John does that make a difference? No answer so he went on to say or minimum order is 200 pounds and hung up again. Straight up a hole. I too hope his boss fires him for losing out on another account. Probably not the biggest account but one nonetheless. If your looking for a good supplier Sims steal in lindenhurst is so far my best experience.
