The nurses are fabulous, they help not only patients, but each other:if your nurse is with a patient another fills in fo him/her. And the spoof is chosen by the patient from a menu: it’s like Going out to a Resturant. Summary, great Nurses, great food.

I'm a patient of both cardiology and gynecology at the Emory Clinics and had major surgery at Emory this past summer for the removal of a watermelon sized tumor, my ovary, and a fallopian tube. I couldn't have asked for a more competent and dedicated team. Every question I had was answered, all risks and concerns were addressed, and my time from admission to discharge was a breeze. Emory saved my life, and I will forever be thankful.

Was admitted through the emergency room four nights. Was taken back quickly even though they were busy and the pa who saw me and resident from Plastic surgery was great as well. The nurse left something to be desired in the ed. On 7t North the nursing care was good along with the inpatient care through the surgery team. One thing for improvement communication could be improved.

My father hasn’t eaten in 17 hours and that timeframe was not prescribed. We arrived for his surgery appointment at 11:30 and it’s 17:30 now. We’ve yet to be seen by the anesthesiologist and lead surgeon. While the surgery they performed in the past was phenomenal medically, it seems as if the surgeon and his team cannot meet their commitments on time today ( to an extreme degree) and that is poor medical practice. Also, despite my father not eating or drinking in 17+ hours, no one who could give the go ahead noticed to give him an IV. Come on y’all. You’re Emory Medicine! You can do better than this. (...so we hope)

My family member had 2 weeks of complicated inpatient cancer treatment. This is a huge facility but the care was personalized and effective. The medical team communicated well. The nurses and doctors were responsive and compassionate. Everyone was careful about cleanliness. They were good about keeping us informed. Parking is a hassle but you get a discount. Food is average. Overall excellent care. We were impressed.
