Nice happy hour specials, good looking bar, and trivia on Tuesday nights. Server took care of us as well. A bit pricey but didn't get much of a chance to try out the food. Some solid traditional Irish food was on the menu. Will go back.

We've been to Emmett's a few times, and each time we've said "we should go there more". Yesterday we walked there in a blizzard for a happy hour shot and a local beer ($7.50!), and ended up sharing the Irish poutine (don't remember the actual name). It was very good and super filling for two of us. Previously we've had a stacker sandwich corned beef and also the fish and chips, both were very good. Emmett's is a great place to have in the neighborhood, which says a lot considering how much great food there is around here. Can't wait to go back!

Cozy English-style pub on Grand Avenue. Lots of gleaming woodwork, nooks with plush booths, and a comfortable bar to lounge and sip pints. One of the best places for fish & chips, lightly battered with herb fries and a tangy tartar sauce, or get the brisket sliders for a bargain during happy hour. It's a crowd on St. Patrick's Day, but any time else you'll be able to get a seat. Friendly staff, connected by hallway to Dixie's next door.

Nice place. Not a big fan of Irish folk music. Love the scotch eggs. We definitely order that every time. Otherwise, the pot pies, fish and chips are well prepared. We usually like to order the oatmeal stout when we're there. I believe that summit makes it and it's knot available in draft at different restaurants in MN.

It's a quaint little bar with good food and drinks. More standard Irish fare found here, so not terribly traditional bar food, more like an Irish swing on bar food. My own personal favorites are the Jameson sticky wings and the potato cakes. Both of these are extremely filling. Drinks can be stiff, ye be warned. It's worth noting while servers are good, the overall pace of service is on the slower side, so keep that in mind when planning a visit.
