::On a day when the office is open (or at least according to the schedule posted on their website), nobody is answering the phone, nor do they have an answering machine. Really? This is 2018, in the USA!! We are not in communist Romania any more. Very disappointed. I called multiple times, with no luck. You need to step up your game, Romanian Embassy!!

::Positive experience at the Embassy of Romania in Washington DC. The service was how needing to be and the staff was very helpful and explained all the new procedural changes. I don't know them and don’t work for them or have any connections, so the review is based on my personal experience. I appreciated the online appointment scheduling and the paperwork review ahead of time. This ensure that no one doesn’t travel and will be turned around for missing documents, sometimes a long distance. The entirely visit was around 30 minutes. Keep going the good work.

::Very pleased with my experience this morning. All the ladies were extremely helpful and pleasant. And no, I don't work for them or have any connections, so this review is fully based on my personal experience. I had to get a lot of services done, but not only was I done way earlier than expected, but they were very helpful in explaining what needed to happen and guide me through the process. Keep up the good work, you made me so proud to be Romanian.

::We had a positive experience at the Embassy of România in Washington DC. The staff was courteous and explained the new procedural changes. While they've experienced some system-related issues which required them to re-do part of our paperwork, they did that patiently and respectfully. We appreciated the new on-line appointment-based scheduling and that they review the paperwork ahead of time, to ensure that one does not travel, sometimes a long distance, just to be turned around for missing documents.
