  The food was okay at best, but the distraction created by the infestation of gnats and flies attacking me and my food really drove the last nail into the coffin. The number of them made me question the cleanliness of the restaurant and particularly the kitchen. I don't think I'll ever be returning here. The waitress was nice, but there's nothing her service can do to make it cleaner. I didn't finish my food and had to leave.

  The food was good but not enough to make me want to come here again. The service was terrible. Made a reservation online ahead of time for my mom's birthday, when we got there there was no one up front and we waited a long time and still no one came up front. Another couple came in after us and we told them we'd been waiting a long time so the woman went to ask if we just seat ourselves or what and went with her husband to sit at the bar. When someone finally came to the front I said we had a reservation and she didn't ask for a name or anything just took us to a table. It took a really long time for the server to pass by our table the entire time we were there. I had heard them singing happy birthday in a different section of the restaurant so I told the server it was my mom's birthday, I actually had put that in our reservation so I wouldn't have to ask about it during dinner but that was ultimately for nothing. They dropped off to go boxes when we asked about birthday deserts we but were still eating.... A different person dropped off a desert menu without saying anything and by the time our server came back we just wanted to leave so we asked for the check and even though the register was directly behind our table she didn't come back for probably another 10 minutes. We're typically really patient and understanding since we work in retail and hospitality but the server didn't even try to be nice at any point, they didn't look busy, most tables were empty in the restaurant and there was no acknowledgement about how long it took to pass by our area ever. Really sucks because my parents love El Torito but just not this location.

  Labor Day / afternoon Lunch Came here on our day off. El Torito's was steady with customers. Our server had many tables to serve in her area. In my opinion that was allot to ask of her. Could be with today's workforce not showing up to cover their shift. My wife had tacos, she enjoyed them. They were too her likening. I had the steak and chicken fajitas... They were cooked to perfection. There presentation of the food was on point. My only issue for mer ,was the tortilla chips. The taste and texture was not up my likening. For me they were ok. For others they may not see an issue. Other than that, stop by and enjoy great food with some mixed drinks.

  It’s El Toronto so you know it’s gonna be excellent! The chips here are always outstanding and just fresh and crisp. The salsa is very fresh and always superb.

  Our waitress was really nice and the manager made sure to check in on our table. I appreciated that the covid precautions are taken seriously and all tables are spaced safely enough apart as well. They were advertising a new item on the menu called vampiros tacos which I don't recommend if you don't like spicy food, but otherwise they taste great
