My sister went to El Centro College and she loved it. It's located at West End Center, close to the Dart West End Rail Station, off of Elm Street and Lamar. These photos are the front and back entrances of El Centro College. There's also a sign that says you can obtain records at this location. You have to pay big bucks to park in downtown Dallas so taking Dart for transportation is the cheapest and easiest way to get there.

Got my associates AAS in networking in August 2016. However I did not hear word about a certificate I had applied for until August 2017 a year later from a financial aid block, a huge mistake el Centro knew about in January 2017 according to the degree audit specialist Gisela Flores. When I spoke to her I asked her why wasn't I notified in January she said she didn't know why. I paid for the block and received my certificate in December 2017. I've reached out to Ms Flores supervisor Ms Rebecca Garza and when I heard nothing I jumped up on the chain of command to the dean Mr Cornelius Johnson. Mr Johnsons assistant called me and deposed an account and a time line and that was the last I heard from El Centro. This acute and unmistakable degree of negligence is unacceptable. Completely unreal and I promise you I can't make this stuff up if I tried. Aside from all of that I was harassed by security on a weekly basis for 3 years until I just went full blown online my last year. I filed a complaint with the TEA Austin last week and awaiting the investigation results as I will keep this review updated.Update****4-18-2018****So Rebecca Garza emailed me a little while ago lying...of course, essentially saying she called me and left voicemails (lies lies and more lies) and she tried to do this and she tried to do that. And TEA has also sent me a closure letter on April 6 passing the buck off to Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, because this complaint falls out of the TEA scope. Took 2 months for TEA to tell me that. So the complaint process as of right now really is just not worth it to pursue.

I’ve tried to contact the school, I have questions about the TSI, my FAFSA, selecting my classes, I’ve called a few times and nobody ever picks up. I’ve left messages and still haven’t heard back, I really need info about this, please.

I am writing on behalf of my daughter-in-law because she can't yet write English. She is attending English as Second Language classes. She went to her class this morning and she was literally kicked out of the school because she forgot to bring her student ID. She showed her passport, semester payment receipt, and books but the security guard yelled at her and asked her to leave. This is an unacceptable behavior. She wants to leave that school and transfer to another one where she feels valued and respected. I have a request. Please check the security cameras. I can give you details of time and entrance where this incident took place. Update: just talked to my daughter-in-law. She is so shook up over this matter that she is afraid to go back there and see the rude guy who kicked her out. What a feeling for a new international student. There was no misunderstanding. She understands English and clearly heard the security guard say that her passport was not an acceptable id. He stated that she needed to show a driver's license. She's been in the US one month and has no DL. She rides public transportation to school. We are willing to discuss this incident with anybody.

Worst college. The teachers are incompetent and can't even run a classroom correctly. They DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS! Most of the time they send you YouTube videos to teach the class and treat you like s*** when you ask questions. A little depressing when you PAY for classes and have some dude on YouTube telling you what is going on in class. No parking and if there is parking it is anywhere from a few dollars to 15 or more. This school is a joke. Working with the students that come from here is a huge pain as well! They know nothing. NO STARS
