  Was recommended by my golf instructor. He said they would be very helpful in getting me a starter set of clubs. Also, in my research it was recommended to go to an actual golf store as there is so much to consider in finding the right clubs. I told the guy that I was taking lessons and they were recommended to help me get a set of starter clubs for a beginner. He walked around the store and pointed out the ladies sets. Maybe I was expecting too much, like help in picking out a proper set for me. I could have gotten this much help at a sporting goods store for less money. Not impressed.

  Every time I go to this store I have an amazing experience! Great prices on everything clubs, clothing, golf balls, and all the accessories you need. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the store. The last time I went in however, I was getting some clubs re-gripped. They did four clubs $3 per club plus price of the grip which isn't bad. In re-gripping my putter however they had some difficulty getting the grip all the way on. Ended up having to use a lot of "solution". Which to me smells like WD-40, paint thinner or lighter fluid. When I got home this solution was continually on my hands, even the trunk of my car smelled. I removed the weight at the end of the grip, up ended the club, and dumped out nearly 2 oz of this nasty smelling "solution". It went everywhere spilling out all over the place. At least I had enough sense to take out the weight in the end of my grip and see where it was coming from! If I hadn't the next couple of weeks of this solution seeping out into a brand new $30 grip would have likely ruined it. Not to mention the grip was barely staying in place. All in all I will recommend this store but be careful if you let them do anything with your equipment and double check everything before playing with it!

  This may not seem like a golf store review, but it is. This marching season has been really hard on my daughter's flute. The incredible heat and humidity have caused her hands to sweat more than usual, which has been causing her keys to malfunction. After taking it to the shop for repairs for the third time this season yesterday, the technician actually came out of her workshop to fuss at my daughter. She suggested gloves, but I have been all over town today in search of ones small and flexible enough. After trying on multiple batting and receiver gloves, I ran across a golf store by chance. The great staff at Edwin Watts Golf on Richmond Road not only had very thin, soft, flexible leather gloves at a reasonable price, but also another solution: DRY HANDS. It is like antiperspirant for the hands, and it really works. Why have I never heard of this stuff? It is AMAZING. Thank you, Edwin Watts Golf!!! (And they were so nice and helpful to a non-golfer!
