Depending there your room is located you may be smelly (smoky) from the wood fire restaurant nearby, or noisy from the traffic, the homeless people or the rooftop air-con units. The staff however is very understanding and wonโ€™t hesitate to switch your room if anything else is available. Location is not great. Too many homeless people in the neighbourhood.

All the staff at this hotel were fabulous. They were extremely helpful with how to get to places, best places to go etc. Super friendly, nice clean rooms and bathroom. If you don't have a car while in SF, this place has a street car stop across the road taking you directly to Fisherman's Wharf or the Castro. A block away is the bus stop to go to the Haight. Couldn't ask for more!

Great price and location in S.F.. I would particularly like to point out and compliment the front office staff for their immense helpfulness and hospitality; I messed up the shipment for some packages that were to be picked up from the hotel after I left, and they went so far as to kindly print my new shipping labels and attach them after I called up. The service alone puts it to 5 stars. As for the rooms, the bed was clean, soft and comfortable; same goes for everything else. My only minor complaint would be the poor water pressure in the showers, but I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jeffrey for making my short trip a wonderful one.

Small but cozy old buildings built in 1908 super clean. Good Location right in front is the f line street car takes YOU right through downtown SF. Pier 39. Hot water takes a while to get hot. Low water pressure. Super friendly staff super helpful
