  We bought two smoked ham hocks here to make some borscht soup at home. These are the BEST ham hocks we've ever had in our house. We've tried many brands and they're a joke compared to the quality here.

  Food was Ok, but not excellent. The Germans are masters of precision and for them everything has to be done to the highest standards. This is not the experience you will get at this place. But it is still worth the visit.

  Thank goodness the place is still open! I lived around the corner in 2002. Great deli with amazing smoked meats. German food is my comfort food.. mom is German.

  This place is a Portland land mark. Everything they make is awesome. The staff are all great. Love this place. If it's crowded just wait. It's worth it.

  This is an outstanding German deli. The cat however was a guest that was quickly escorted out >.
