They came into my house and turned on my Kitchenaid dishwasher and listened for 15 seconds and said that I needed a new motor. Didn't' open tip the dishwasher and check any parts, knew that I needed a motor when I asked why don't you check into it more. My experience knows that sound was what I was told. I then was told that it would be $450 for a new motor and that it is up to me to fix it - but today will be $95 for the visit. I was reluctant to pay - but had to. They left my house 12 minutes after coming into my house. I then got on the phone and called Kitchenaid (dishwasher is 6 years old). They recommended their guy come out - so I called him. He said that he knows that dishwasher and that he guarantees that it is the chopped and not a new motor. He came 2 days later and it took him 4 minutes to open up the system and look at the chopper - it was a piece of plant stuck in chopper. We removed it and the dishwasher is running perfectly for 4 months now. I called Econo and they were VERY DEFENSIVE! The tech actually called me back with an attitude saying that he knows what he is talking about and that it will need a new motor anyway! Well.........of course everything will need a new motor eventually! They refused to give me my money back! Please - do not use these guys. Call the manufacturer and go with their certified guys that know the appliance. By the way - their certified guy was $85 not $95 - cheaper!

A very trite and rude woman hung up on me when I was in the middle of a sentence, trying to find out if I'd called the right repair shop. Couldn't take 20 damn seconds after deciding I was out of their service area.
