  I've dealt with these guys a couple times now. They came to look at a fridge that had been broken. Informed me it wouldn't be worth fixing, then bought if off me for parts. Recently, my drier stopped working. I bought a used Maytag from them and they delivered it within the hour, installed it and took away my old one. All for a reasonable price. They were extremely friendly, knowledgable and efficient.

  You don't even deserve a star. You are one of the worst appliances to call.... Can't even fix a refrigerator. You charge me $300 and say it's not our folt.. The hell with you guys. I'm going to make sure your company falls....

  My original, one-star review is below, for comparison. Read that for a description of the situation. I had a repair guy come by, look it over, and said there was no point in fixing the washer. As a last, unlikely hope, I again contacted Echo Park Appliance, and explained how this problem was the same one they'd "fixed" under warranty, and that it had never gone away. Even though they had to do nothing, the guy on the phone agreed to come by and look. They scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. I showed him (the same person who'd come by to fix it before) the problem, and he agreed immediately, scheduling a pickup date (which they were on time for as well). He said his boss wouldn't like this, but did it anyway. Today, just a few days later, they returned it, and so far, it's clear the original problem is gone. They replaced the entire "tub" part, and various supporting parts. He again said his boss wasn't happy, but I think (of course) that honoring the intent of the original warranty, and recognizing the situation was honestly reported within warranty, is a good an honest call. I really did not expect anything to come of my call to them, but they were understanding and friendly. This level of care really restores my faith in honest businesses. ================= Original: Bought a supposedly refurbished washing machine. Leaked from day one. They finally came out, on the LAST DAY of the warranty, and claimed it was fixed. It wasn't, and they additionally wrongly stated the problem as being a bad connection to the drain - they said it wasn't the machine leaking, but the drain where the hose went into it. WRONG. It leaks from the instant it starts to fill up. (there was more, but that describes the problem)

  Repaired my antique stove. Guys we're on time friendly new thier stuff. I recommend for service calls.

  I just moved into a new apt with my boyfriend, and we needed to furnish it with a stove, so we decided to go with a gas range from this appliance store. We found a cute little one that was perfect for our small (or you can say cozy) kitchen. We rented a truck and loaded it home (there was this sweet girl who helped us load it up.) Once we got it home, and connected it, two of the four stove top ranges didn't work !! Our purchase came with a 90 day repair but it took forever for them to pick up calls, and sometimes they would tell us they sent us a repair man, but nobody ever showed up at that time. We finally had someone come in and "repair" it only to have it break again with a week. In the end we just resold our stove at a major loss, and boug a new one from Best Buy. The only reason it has an extra star is the sweet girl who helped us load in.
