  Ecclesia is a thriving, vibrant community with inspiring sermons, thoughtful music, and a genuine heart to reach out to those in need in Houston. Pastor Chris Seay loves this church and also is very present to the needs of the local community and city. If you’re new to Houston, definitely come and give it a try!

  Ecclesia touts its self as, " a place for everyone ". This is a lie. I was just kicked off the property for listening to the radio in my vehicle. I was told that I was making the coffee shop customers "nervous". I guess that if you're not an urban snowflake, you're not really welcome. As a supposedly welcoming church, I find their actions disappointing. Maybe if I was in a BMW or Mercedes, those gentrified double mocha cuppicino Swillers would not been so afraid.

  I have been attending for five years. It is a wonderful place. Like any organization, the more you lean in, volunteer, and get involved, the more you'll get out of it. Don't expect old school fire and brimstone messages. Do expect a message of love for God, compassion for others, and service to the community.

  My family truly appreciates the help from Lisa and the church post Harvey. They are such wonderful people and helped many families!And the church is like an art gallery (don't be fooled by its outside look)! The inside layout and setup of the church is very modern, comfortable and spacious. We'll come back.

  Ecclesia is a bare bones, no frills church that gets things done in the community, and around the world. From their immense help up to this point with Harvey victims and their continued plan to help, to orchestrating drilling projects to provide water wells in Puerto Rico, and on and on. They are transparent with their finances (how much they're bringing in, specifically where the money goes, etc), which is refreshing from the unknown "black box" that usually is associated with the financial operation of traditional places of worship. The sermons are impactful and delivered in a relaxed setting. I'm happy to be a member of this church where EVERYONE is welcome.
