Everything was great, I just thought it was as good as other dives on the taste of the food. The only bad thing I can think of was that the seats were not comfortable. Step up the food quality and this would be a five star dive.

Sort of a small plates burger place. Excellent avocado fries. I had The Cure w/out the apple relish. I loved it. My wife raved about the Pimento Burger. I had a few bites as well -- fantastic. Nonalcoholic drinks are cans, no fountain drinks.

Come for the burgers and stay for the free jukebox, you won't be disappointed. Eatbar has serves some of the best burgers in DC. If you're in the neighborhood and jonesing for a burger definitely stop in. The burgers are wonderfully cooked to juicy temperature and come with an interesting variety of toppings. Eatbar also has a very nice rotating draft list of 15+ beers from craft brewers from all over the country. If you don't find anything you like on the draft list Eatbar carries a very extensive bottle and can list of adult beverages as well.

This is a new place in Southeast DC. The burgers are interesting and the place is small. The waiter was good, but it was strange to watch the manager, or someone that works at the bar, socialize with a particular table yet ignore others in the small place. In all the food was good, but service could ha e been better.

Eatbar is probably a better happy hour spot opposed to dinner. It's self-seating - and the venue is modern. Service was a bit slow, but on no fault to the staff - the bartenders was also serving the tables, this is something management should reevaluate based on my visit. Food was good, but portions are small (the fries especially were perplexingly small). I'd go back for happy hour but not for a meal.
