  Location was ideal, as it was a short walk downtown and had bars and late night food right next to it. Room was clean and cozy, although I wish they provided toothpaste. Service was accommodating and friendly, and even upgraded my room free of charge.

  The best discount hotel in Portland. Anything better would be $50 a night more, and I'm not paying that.

  It's alright if you need a place to sleep for the night. It's easy to tell that there was cheap contractor work. The lobby was nicely done but the rooms were done cheap. The room I stayed in had a nice king sized bed and a newer looking cabinet with some drawers with a microwave and mini fridge in it. The problem was here was about a foot of room to walk in between the bed and cabinet to get to the bathroom. The bathroom was small and the shower was claustrophobic and the venting fan didn't work. There was a closet area that was recessed and had about 3 feet of wasted space to get to the coat hangers. The room could use a better use of the space it has.
