  Weird hours . Never open. She didn't have much really. Disappointment. Not very friendly

  The ladies at Dynamo have always been super helpful, are knowledgeable about the products that they sell, and are wonderful at answering questions and providing resources. I have been several times and will keep this as my go-to boutique.

  Dynamo offers something that has been sorely lacking in the New Orleans area for a long time: a progressive, education-focused, lady-friendly sex toy boutique. The girls who run this shop are both geeks about human sexuality and that’s good news for customers, because it feels totally safe to ask them any and all questions about the products they sell and their uses. Plus, they organize regular workshops around the city and bring in guest speakers on all things sexy-time… They’ve hosted Q&As that cover topics like BDSM, how to keep monogamy exciting, and the art of dirty talk. They’re also really into body-safe products, which is SO reassuring compared to the many toxic plastic toys you might find in one of the touristy French Quarter shops. Their current location is a cozy space upstairs from The New Movement theater, but they also set up pop-ups at local burlesque shows and other events, plus they do private parties for bachelorettes. (Of course!) Their prices are also really reasonable, and if you want something they don’t currently stock, they can usually special order it for you.
