  Limited, but great menu. Food was awesome, service was quick, polite, and friendly. I had received a gift card for Due South, but I would gladly spend my own money on it. Looking forward to checking it out during a game day as it's within walking distance to Nats Stadium.

  Due South came highly recommended and last night we finally had an opportunity to try. It was a nice place to eat, the service and the attention given to us was very good. We started with the mini crab melt and the fried green tomatoes. They were both the best appetizers ever. My wife and I did decided to share the half chicken entree. When they delivered it to our table it reminded me of Mission BBQ. Due South uses the metal trays as well. The chicken was good but was missing half of the wing. The kale greens and potato salad were ok. The way the food is served, I don't recommend sharing. You will use the same mini saucers you used for the appetizers, or eat off of the same metal tray. Either way it was uncomfortable. With so many choices for great Bar-B-Que/ Southern food for less than half the price, in this area, I don't know if I will ever be back. It's a good place but very low on value for money spent.

  Atmosphere, Chicken Jambalaya and the beers were really good. I ordered from the bar and just handed over my card to pay. I only got my CC receipt; no food receipt. I think he charged me for an extra beer or tacked on gratuity. I don’t know but at the time I didn’t care but now I feel suckered. No one likes feeling suckered. Just check your bill.

  I was here for happy hour, the house wine on happy hour was ok. I ordered the pork nachos and my friend ordered a kale salad with chicken. The pork nachos came out cold and were quite disappointing. I didn't complain about them because we were so hungry we just ate them. The kale salad with chicken was delicious. However, the salad was $18 ($12 for the salad and an additional $6 for the chicken) and it was a fairly small portion for that price. I've heard good things about brunch so I do want to try that, but I wouldn't go back for happy hour.

  Due South is an amazing BBQ joint right next to the Potomac and Navy Yard. The staff are quick to greet you and find your group a table. Immediately after being seated they take your order and the food comes relatively quickly. I would recommend ordering the traditional BBQ items on the menu as they are best at cooking those. Their healthy options such as the salmon and grilled chicken are not quite up to par.
