  Solche Pharmacys gibr es New York an jeder Ecke. Man bekommt dort nicht nur Drogerieartikel, sondern auch Snacks und Getränke!

  Very nice new looking Duane Reade by Walgreens. Clearly you can see the new Walgreens within DR. Very easy to find quick items from Q-Tips to Beer.

  Review is for the pharmacy portion of this store. Had a great flu shot experience here. Pharmacist was nice, it was covered by insurance, and I was out within 10 minutes of walking into the store.

  It's a neighborhood pharmacy, small for a DR but the pharmacy staff are good, and considerate. Have been going here a long time.

  I have been a patron of this pharmacy for many years and I would not consider going anywhere else. The head pharmacist, Steve, was once co-owner of this pharmacy, and although the store is now a Duane Reade, Steve has stayed on as head pharmacist. Steve is my first go-to for all kinds of health questions and problems, and has saved me unnecessary trips to the doctor on several occasions. He is generous with his time and knowledge and really takes an interest in you as I have learned over time. On days when there is only one person at the cashier (Duane Reade standard operating procedure from what I can see in other stores as well) you may have to be patient. I also love the fact that it is a very small store, whose primary reason for existence is to function as a pharmacy, and that it has always served a neighborhood. The pharmacy on 44th is not a Duane Reade superstore - there's one of those a block away.
